Located along Maiden Lane, The Blue Ribbon Federal Grill is a 94-seat restaurant occupying the ground-floor tenant space of a boutique hotel.

The plan of the dining room is organized around the existing structural steel columns, which were fire-proofed with an intumescent coating that allowed them to remain exposed in the space. A palette of white oak, walnut, and Maharam upholstery serves as an elegant counterpoint to the heft of the exposed steel.
